Film review: When the lack of quality is a quality

Before the actual film review begins (I don't know if you noticed, but I do these posts very seriously, like if I was actually a film critic), I wanted to remember you one little thing. It's the last term. And well, in the end things change and we adapt ourselves and learn from the lessons we've been taught.
Let's recapitulate, first we had a drama based on real events, then an anime movie from Studio Ghibli which is a symbol of childhood to many people.
This is too high class. Let's talk about something different this time...

Scary Movie 5 is exactly the kind of film as you'd expect it to be. A parody of horror films (this time even including psychologic thrillers, they've grown up!) with a cannon load of pubertal gags. No more, no less. But that's all a Scary Movie needs.
As for the story... Oh, wait, there was a story? Well, they're different storylines that DON'T flow into each other in the end of the film to give you a spectacular final experience. That said, you can expect about 5 minuts of Charlie Sheen and Lindsey Lohan together in a bedroom and then all kinds of strange things happening to different people, always keeping in mind the need of firing around with gags.
If you go to the cinema (this is the first conditional)* knowing the kind of film that awaits you (this is the second conditional) and you don't expect more than that, then you will have a great time watching this movie. The film is completely focused on the humour, but the actors are capable of such a high variety of stupid faces and movements that we can consider that they actually contribute to the success of the movie.
But I warn you, if you don't like this kind of entertainment or you think that it's under your dignity to experience 86 minutes of sexual references, dumb slapstick humour and all possible forms of idiocy, then do not waste your time and your money and nobody will judge you because of that, so there's no sense in criticizing the stupidity of a film that wants to be stupid.
In conclusion, you can have lots of fun with Scary Movie 5 especially if you bring your best friends with you and if you've seen Paranormal Activity, Black Swan or other recent thrillers or horror movies there's a little bonus of recognizing their respective parodies.
**/**** Nothing outstanding, but it would be too outstanding if that movie was oustanding.

*I wasn't talking about grammar...
